Hello, I’m Liza.
I’m the photographer behind Little Way Photography, capturing weddings, families and the beautiful seasons of life in between.
I believe photographs are more than beautiful images. They are a way of holding onto the people, places and moments that make up our lives.
My approach is natural, warm and unobtrusive. I want you to feel comfortable in front of the camera, while I quietly look for the little moments you might otherwise miss — the laughter, the glances, the happy tears and everything in between.
Because years from now, those are the moments you’ll want to remember.
My love of photography began in 2013, when I was given my first camera while I was still at school.
From the very beginning, I loved documenting the people around me. Family gatherings, celebrations, everyday moments — if there was a camera nearby, I was usually behind it.
After school, I completed a photography course and continued learning, practising and developing my craft. Before long, friends and family were asking me to photograph their parties, events and weddings, and their encouragement eventually gave me the confidence to turn something I loved into Little Way Photography.
What began with a camera and a love of capturing memories has grown into something I’m incredibly grateful to share with others.
Little Way Photography was created from a simple belief: everyone deserves beautiful photographs of the people and moments they love.
When my own family began looking for a professional photographer, I was surprised by how difficult it could be to find photography that felt both beautiful and attainable. It made me realise there was room for something different.
Little Way Photography is my way of offering a personal, thoughtful photography experience without making professional photography feel out of reach.
Whether you're celebrating a wedding, welcoming a new little one, gathering your family or simply wanting to remember this season of life, I want your photographs to feel every bit as special as the memories themselves.
Having your photograph taken can feel a little daunting — especially if you're not used to being in front of the camera.
My job isn't to turn you into models. It's to help you feel comfortable, enjoy the moment and forget about the camera being there.
I'll offer gentle direction when you need it, but I'll also leave plenty of space for the genuine moments to unfold naturally.
From our first conversation to the delivery of your final photographs, I want the experience to feel relaxed, personal and enjoyable.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me teaching music, singing with a choir, ballroom dancing, sewing or enjoying a good book.
I’m a lover of beautiful old things, classical music, Tolkien, Austen and anything with a touch of vintage charm.
I’m also a wife, a mother, a music teacher and, most importantly, someone who genuinely loves people and their stories.
I think that’s probably why photography means so much to me. Every person and every family has a story worth remembering — and I feel very privileged when you trust me to capture yours.
Whether you're planning your wedding, celebrating a growing family or simply wanting to preserve this season of your life, I'd love to hear your story.
Tell me a little about what you're planning, and let's create photographs you'll treasure for years to come.
I'd love to hear from you.
